These terms cover your use of the DriveTribe mobile app.
You may use DriveTribe if you can form a binding contract where you live. You are responsible for the account you create and for the device the app runs on.
Do not operate the app while driving. Set up your drive before you move, and mount your phone so it does not obstruct your view or your controls. Obey all traffic laws and speed limits. DriveTribe records what happened; it does not encourage how you drive, and it does not publish speed rankings.
You are solely responsible for your driving. We are not liable for accidents, fines, or any consequence of using the app while in a vehicle.
Statistics come from GPS and phone sensors and are estimates. Accuracy varies with signal quality, mounting, and vehicle. Where a measurement is not trustworthy the app says so rather than guessing. Do not rely on DriveTribe as a legal, evidential, or safety-critical record.
DriveTribe Pro is an optional subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store account settings. Prices are shown in your store's own currency before you confirm. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
Free trial days earned through referrals are granted by us and are not a purchase. They are added to any existing entitlement rather than replacing it.
Referral days are released when an invited person completes a genuine drive. Attempts to generate referrals through fake accounts, simulated location, or automated means will have the rewards revoked.
Your drive data is yours. If you turn on backup you grant us permission to store and process it solely to provide the service. We claim no ownership of your data and do not use it to train models.
Do not reverse engineer the app, interfere with the service, attempt to access other users' data, or use the app to break the law.
The service is provided as is, without warranty. We may change or discontinue features. The app is designed to keep working offline with data already on your device, so a service interruption does not stop you recording drives.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
